Before and after treatments
During treatment. Some examples of how Emmi-Pet may benefit your dog
How it works
Emmi-pet is an unique and patented system for dental cleaning and oral hygiene. The Emmi-Pet is non-invasive, non-vibrating and quiet, which relieves the need for brushing or abrasive action. Located in the head of each toothbrush head is an Ultrasonic Piezo-Chip, a globally unique patent by Emmi-dent. This chip generates up to 96 million ultrasonic waves (air vibrations) per minute.

The ultrasonic waves pass through the bristles of the toothbrush head to Emmi-pet's specially formulated toothpaste. This creates 'micro bubbles' that react with the air vibrations and implode, effectively removing food particles, plaque, and bacteria from your dog's mouth.

Benefits of dog teeth cleaning
Please be aware that this treatment is not a substitute for veterinary care if needed. It effectively removes mild to medium plaque and tartar buildup and helps prevent future accumulation when used regularly. Any dog with oral disease, loose teeth, or receding gums should be evaluated by a veterinarian. This treatment is designed for prevention and does not replace the need for a veterinary scale and polish if it is indicated at our initial consultation.
Prevent Tooth loss and gum disease
Emmi-pet not only cleans teeth, but also penetrates below the gum line. It also increases blood flow to the gums which can aid gum disease. With regular cleaning of your dog's teeth and gums, they will be free of plaque and tartar which helps to maintaining the important structures to keep teeth in place and reduces periodontal diseases.
Kind to your dog
Our teeth cleaning service is non-invasive, silent, and vibration-free, ensuring maximum comfort for your dog. Regular treatments prevent new plaque formation above and below the gum line.
Save Money
Taking care of your dog's oral hygiene on a regular basis can save money and prevent the need for more invasive treatments down the line. By being proactive, you can avoid the stressful situation off taking your dog to the vet for a scale and polish under sedation. Keeping your dog's teeth clean and healthy is essential for their overall well being. Start a routine today to ensure your furry friend maintains a bright and happy smile!
Fresher breath
Eliminate stinky 'dog breath'. Good oral hygiene will freshen breath in your dog and promote a healthy mouth.

Initial Consultation
All dogs will require an initial consultation to assess their suitability for treatment (checking teeth, gums and whether your dog will be happy undergoing treatment). We will also recommend what follow on treatment will be needed.

The toothbrush head should last for 15 - 20 treatments but a replacement may be required sooner if your dog chews the brush. Further brushes are available for £7.50.

Following the initial consultation, depending on your dog's oral health, your dog may require several visits to remove stubborn plaque and tartar. It is impossible to predict how fast results will be seen due to various factors (diet, age, health, extent of tartar/plaque and dog's co-operation).

These follow on sessions are charged at £25 per session or take a block of 5 sessions for £100 and save £25 overall.

We can also supply clients with Orozyme Gel to use between appointments which will help breakdown plaque/tartar further at £12 per tube (70g).
